All You Ever Wanted To Know About Goat Keeping by Pat North (updated by her son, Charles Spring).
Pat North was an experienced goat breeder when she wrote ‘All you ever wanted to know about goats’. Her wealth of experience is shown in this book but aimed at the novice goat keeper or someone who wants to know how to look after a goat as a pet.
This is a book every goat-keeper should have in their library. This latest edited version has been completed by her son Charles Spring who knew she wanted to keep it up to date. He did this to reflect the changes in the goat-keeping world since publication of the previous edition in the 1980’s. He has managed to keep the original intent of this book whilst reflecting some of the changes in practice since its first publication.
All of the original photographs and pictures so well drawn by people Pat North knew personally as friends are still in there. As are many of the humorous comments she added to try and make goat keeping fun as it should be, whilst still ensuring the best for the animals through her practical knowledge.
