Harold G Birkenhead
Book and Profile
England’s history has been kind to Oliver Cromwell, biographers and historians have shared similar information and presented it without much adjustment. Now we have “Investigating Cromwell” a factually based and fast-paced novel set in 17th Century England, which aims to contradict and dispel many previously held beliefs.
In 1992, after 13 years of service, Harold retired from the Massachusetts State Police to become an Anglican/Episcopal Priest.
He resides in South Weymouth Massachusetts with his wife Charlene, four children and two dogs and if that isn't enough, he is also Rector of The Church of the Holy Nativity, an Episcopal Church also located in South Weymouth.
Harold is an avid reader who also loves long walks, sports and meditation. His educational background is in Theology, Psychology, History and Law Enforcement.
Although 'Investigating Cromwell' is his first attempt at writing a novel, he has written short stories and articles for newspapers, newsletters and Church periodicals.
